。。 (Sekaiisan ni tōchaku! Kankōkyaku darake da...) 。。 (Sekaiisan ni tōchaku! Kankōkyaku darake da...)
Eric: Let's break this down. First is an expression meaning "Arrived at the World Heritage Site!"
(Sekaiisan ni tōchaku! )
Eric: This is a common expression to use when you arrive somewhere and want to post about it. You can replace the Japanese word for "World Heritage Site" with any other place and use the expression at, for example, schools, meeting places, and so on. Listen again- "Arrived at the World Heritage Site!" is...
(Sekaiisan ni tōchaku! (Sekaiisan ni tōchaku! )
Eric: Then comes the phrase - "So many tourists... ."
。。 (Kankōkyaku darake da...)
Eric: When you visit Japan, especially in big cities like Tokyo, a lot of places you go will probably be full of people. To get on a train also, you have to throw yourself into crowds. When you encounter a moment like that, you can use this expression, replacing the word "tourists" with something else, for example, "students" or "workers". Listen again- "So many tourists..." is...
。。 (Kankōkyaku darake da...) 。。 (Kankōkyaku darake da...)
Eric: All together, "Arrived at the World Heritage Site! So many tourists..."
。。 (Sekaiisan ni tōchaku! Kankōkyaku darake da...)
