James: In this lesson, you will learn more expressions that describe someone with certain characteristics.
SLANG EXPRESSIONS
James: The expressions you will be learning in this lesson are:
Risa: メンクイ (menkui)
Risa: オタク (otaku)
Risa: 肉食系 (nikushokukei)
Risa: 草食系 (sōshokukei)
James: Risa, what's our first expression?
Risa: メンクイ (menkui)
James: literally meaning "face eater." But when it's used as a slang expression, it means "a person who goes for good looking men or women."
