| Jessi: So when you ask somebody to do something, you use people to do something for you. |
| Yuichi: よく子どを使いますよね、お使いに。 |
| Jessi: So for examples, ‘Children often go on errands.’ |
| Yuichi: 最後の単語は、玉ねぎ （onion） ジェシーさん、玉ねぎの形はどんな形ですか。 |

| Jessi: So when you make curry, you put in onions not leaks. |
| Naomi: ここで発音のポイントがあります。 |
| Jessi: There is one pronunciation tip from the dialog we’d like to mention. |
| Naomi: In the dialog, the mother said 「二人でお使いに行ってもらえない」 言って is the te-form of a verb 行く but it’s not いて whichi is the te-form of a verb いる. |
| Jessi: The grammar point is actually てもらえない which will explain later, but the point Naomi wants to make is te-form of 行く to go is 行って. There is a small prose in there where it’s the te-form of いる to exist or to be is いて. Can we have some sample sentences to compare two pronunciations? |
| Yuichi: 学校に行ってください。(Go to schoo.) 学校にいてください。(Stay at school.) |
| Jessi: So they sound similar but the meaning is different. So please be careful. Now onto the grammar. |

| Jessi: Today's grammar point is "te form of a verb+ moraenai?," which is used to express a request. This expression is very similar to the one we studied in the last lesson ("te form of a verb + kurenai?"), which we use to make requests to persons in-group: family members, close friends and so on. However, "te form of a verb+ moraenai?," which we will focus on today, is a little bit more polite. As in today's dialogue, |

| Jessi: In the previous lesson, we mention てくれない. Of course, you can use てくれない instead of てもらえない. |
