| The On-reading for this kanji is ドク (doku), like in 読書 (dokusho), which means “reading.” |

| うーん、いい本でした。 (Ūn, ii hon deshita.) |
| And the Kun-reading is よ (yo), like in 読む (yomu), which means “to read.” |
