Welcome to Kanji Time! Today, we are going to review N3 Kanji. Let’s go!
If you want to do the quiz first, please go to these times.
This kanji means “cause, factor, depend on, be limited to, be related to.”
The On-reading for this kanji is イン (in) like in 原因 (gen'in) which means “cause, reason.”
なんでだ?原因を教えてくれ!(Nande da? Gen'in o oshiete kure!)
And the Kun-reading is よ (yo) like in 因る (yoru) which means “to cause.”
これが動かないのはバッテリー切れに因るものだな。 (Kore ga ugokanai no wa batterīgire ni yoru mono da na.)
This kanji means “quandary, become distressed, annoyed, be in trouble.”
The On-reading for this kanji is コン (kon) like in 困難 (konnan) which means “difficulty.”
And the Kun-reading is こま (koma) like in 困る (komaru) which means “be worried, to have a hard time.”
This kanji means “park, garden, farm, yard.”
The On-reading for this kanji is エン (en) like in 公園 (kōen) which means “park.”
公園行こうぜ!野球しようぜ!(Kōen ikō ze! Yakyū shiyō ze!)
And the Kun-reading is その (sono) like in 梅の園 (ume no sono) which means “plum garden.”
梅の良い匂いがする。(Ume no ii nioi ga suru.)
冬の終わりの春の前になるぐらいに、梅の花の匂いがしてきたりしますよ。
(Fuyu no owari no haru no mae ni naru gurai ni, ume no hana no nioi ga shite kitari shimasu yo.)
This kanji means “exist, outskirts, suburbs, located in, stay.”
The On-reading for this Kanji is ザイ (zai) like in 現在 (genzai) which means “present, now.”

And the Kun-reading is あ (a) like in 在り来りの (arikitari no) which means “conventional.”

パスタ?在り来りじゃん!(Pasuta? Arikitari jan!)
This kanji means “report, news, reward, retribution, inform.”
The On-reading for this kanji is ホウ (hō) like in 情報 (jōhō) which means “information.”
So many information in the world.
And the Kun-reading is むく (muku) like in 報いを受ける (mukui o ukeru) which means “pay dearly for.”

I follow the release of new lessons via RSS, but since at least yesterday there is an error in the feed content: the URLs for the lessons are wrong. E.g., this lessons' URL appears in the feed as https://www.japanesepod101.com/kanji-time-73-jlpt-n3-kanji-review-%E5%9B%A0-%E5%9B%B0-%E5%9C%92-%E5%9C%A8-and-%E5%A0%B1 , when the correct URL contains "/lesson/" right after the domain: https://www.japanesepod101.com/lesson/kanji-time-73-jlpt-n3-kanji-review-%E5%9B%A0-%E5%9B%B0-%E5%9C%92-%E5%9C%A8-and-%E5%A0%B1


This means that a lot of students are clicking those links and seeing a 404 page instead of the lesson...
