Hi, everyone! Welcome to Kanji Time. Today, we are going to learn N5 Kanji.
JLPT N5の漢字を勉強しましょう。(Jēerupītī enu faibu no kanji o benkyō shimashō.)
Let’s go!

This kanji means “store, shop.”
The On-reading for this Kanji is テン (ten) as in 店員 (ten'in) which means “sales clerk.”
And the Kun-reading is みせ (mise) like in 夜店 (yomise) which means “night stalls.”
博多の夜店でラーメンを食べる。(Hakata no yomise de rāmen o taberu.)
This kanji means “electricity.”
The On-reading for this kanji is デン (den) like in 電車 (densha) which means “train”
And also, 電気 (denki) which means “electricity.”
This kanji means “earth, ground, soil”
The On-reading for this kanji is ド, ト (do, to) like in 土地 (tochi) which means “land, plot.”
And the Kun-reading is つち (tsuchi) like 土 (tsuchi) which means “soil.”
This kanji means “east.”
