Hi, everyone! Welcome to Kanji Time. Today, we are going to review N5 Kanji. Let’s start!
If you want to do the quiz first, please go to these times.
This Kanji means “big, large, a lot.”
The On-reading for this Kanji is ダイ、タイ(dai, tai) like in 大半 (taihan) which means “majority.”
And the Kun-reading is おお (ō) like in 大きい (ōkii) meaning “large, big.”

This Kanji means “man, male.”
The On-reading for this kanji is ダン、ナン (dan, nan), as in 男子 (danshi) which means “boy / boys.”
And the Kun-reading is おとこ (otoko) like in 男前 (otokomae) which means “handsome.”
