Hi, everyone. Hi! Welcome to Kanji Time.
Today, we are going to learn N1 Kanji.
If you want to do the quiz first, please go to these times.
This kanji means “overcome, kindly, skillfully”.
The on-reading for this kanji is コク (koku) like in 克服する (kokufuku suru) which means “conquer, overcome”.
嫌いな食べ物を克服する。(Kirai na tabemono o kokufuku suru.)
食べます!(Tabemasu!)
あ、おいしい!(A, oishii!)
嫌いな食べ物を克服する。(Kirai na tabemono o kokufuku suru.)
And 克明な (kokumei na) which means “scrupulous, minute”
This kanji means “excuse, dismissal”.
The on-reading for this kanji is メン (men) like in 免許 (menkyo) which means “license”.
運転免許。 (Unten menkyo.) “Driver’s license”
And the kun-reading for this kanji is まぬか (manuka) like in 免れる (manugareru) which means “escape, be saved”.
危機的状況を免れる。(Kikiteki jōkyō o manugareru.) “Escape from the dangerous situation.”
