Hi, everyone! Welcome to Kanji Time!
Today, we are going to learn N4 kanji.
頑張りましょう。 (Ganbarimashō.)
Let’s go!

こちらです。 (Kochira desu.)
This kanji means “world”.
The On-reading for this kanji is カイ (kai), like in 世界 (sekai) which means “world”.
世界のみんな。 (Sekai no minna.)
世界中。 (Sekaijū.) “All around the world.”
And 政界 (seikai) which means “political arena”.
This kanji means “ill, sick”.
The On-reading for this kanji is ビョウ (byō), like in 病気 (byōki) which means “disease”.
And the Kun-reading is や, やまい (ya, yamai), like in 気に病む (ki ni yamu) which means “to worry oneself”.
This kanji means “departure, publish, emit, start from”.
The On-reading for this kanji is ハツ, ホツ (hatsu, hotsu), like in 発見 (hakken) which means “discover”.
