Hello Pek Kuan,

Thank you for your comment!

We are really sorry for the late reply.

Yes, "veteran" means both ้€€ๅฝน่ปไบบ and ๅพฉๅ“ก่ปไบบ in Japanese.

Strictly speaking, however, ้€€ๅฝน่ปไบบ is ex-serviceman and ๅพฉๅ“ก่ปไบบ is demobilized soldier.

Thank you for studying with us!

Sincerely,

Team JapanesePod101.com

Miho

Hello!

In the list above, "้€€ๅฝน (ใŸใ„ใˆใ) ่ปไบบ" refers to veterans but I heard something else in the opening title of the audio for Veterans Day. It sounded like "ๅพฉๅ“ก (ใตใใ„ใ‚“๏ผ‰่ปไบบใฎๆ—ฅโ€. Was that it? And are they the same?

Thanks!

Pek Kuan
