I missed this one because I didn't know the word for square. My dictionary says that's a N2 word, so it's easy to miss in this beginner lesson when that's the key word for getting the correct answer.

A lot of the words used in this dialogue were words I wasn't familiar with. Does this lesson really belong under Beginner?

Hi Shida,

Thank you for the comment!

In the dialogue, the man says he's been using a pair of squared glasses so he wants to try something different. Then, he finds the rounded ones are not so good on him, so he finally chooses the rounded one.

Can you hear "Yappari niawanai nā." in the dialogue? which means "I don't think it suits (my face) as I guessed.".

Check it out!

Hope this helps you.

Hmm. I did get it right but I misunderstood some of the lines from the dialogue. I thought he used to have a pair of round glasses and wanted to get a squared one. Turns out he used to have squared ones and that the round ones didn't suit him.
