Thank you for your comment!

People would understand if you say "jลซ yon-nichi-kan."

But we always say "jลซ yokka-kan."

And for 15 days, it's not "jลซ itsuka-kan", but jลซ go-nichi-kan."

We just add "-kan" after date to describe duration.

Kon'nichiwa Mina! what I really don't understand here is that the dates beyond 10 are normally used with the general number and Nichi at the end. Can we say for example Ju-Yon-Nichi-Ka (as in ''it took 4 days'') instead of Juyokka or Ju-Go-Nichi-Ka instead of Juitsuka. Please any help with this will be kindly appreciated โค๏ธ๏ธ
