Do you remember how to say "Where is [place]?"?
[place] は どこですか。 ([place] wa doko desu ka.)
Imagine you’re looking for the bank. Do you remember how to say "bank?"
ぎんこう, ぎんこう (ginkō, ginkō)
Say “Where is the bank?”
ぎんこうは どこですか。 (Ginkō wa doko desu ka.)
Now ask where the bank is and answer saying the bank is over there.

あそこです。 (Asoko desu.)
Now imagine you’re looking for the bathroom. Do you remember how to say "bathroom?"
トイレ, トイレ (toire, toire)
Say “Where is the bathroom?”
トイレは どこですか。 (Toire wa doko desu ka.)
Now ask where the bathroom is and answer saying the bathroom is over there.
トイレは どこですか。 (Toire wa doko desu ka.)
あそこです。 (Asoko desu.)
Now imagine you’re looking for the mall. Do you remember how to say "mall?"
ショッピングモール, ショッピングモール (shoppingu mōru, shoppingu mōru)
Say “Where is the mall?”
ショッピングモールは どこですか。 (Shoppingu mōru wa doko desu ka.)
Now ask where the mall is and answer saying the mall is over there.
ショッピングモールは どこですか。 (Shoppingu mōru wa doko desu ka.)
あそこです。 (Asoko desu.)
