Hi, everyone! This is Risa. Today, I’m going to talk about top 5 things you should do in Nagoya. 名古屋は愛知の中にある、 (Nagoya wa Aichi no naka ni aru,) “Nagoya is the name of” 都市の名前です。 (toshi no namae desu.) “a city in Aichi Prefecture.” 名古屋、大阪とか、 (Nagoya, Ōsaka toka,) “It's one of the top” 日本のトップ５に入る都市です。(Nihon no toppu faibu ni hairu toshi desu.) “5 cities in Japan like Osaka.”
1. みそ料理を食べる。 (Miso-ryōri o taberu.) “Eat miso dishes.”
名古屋はみそ料理で有名で、 (Nagoya wa miso-ryōri de yūmei de,) “Nagoya is famous for its miso dishes.” たくさん、例えばみそ煮込みうどんとか、あとみそカツ。 (takusan, tatoeba "miso-nikomi-udon" toko, ato "miso-katsu".) “There are many dishes such as "miso noodle stew" and "miso cutlet".
みそカツっていうのは、普通のカツ、 ("Miso-katsu" tte iu no wa, futsū no katsu,) “"Miso cutlet" is cutlet” カツ料理に甘いみそをかけたのなんですけど。 (katsu-ryōri ni amai miso o kaketa no nan desu kedo.) “with sweet miso sauce.”
好き嫌いがあるんですけど、私は好きです。(Suki kirai ga aru n desu kedo, watashi wa suki desu.) “It's loved by some and hated by others, and I like it.” すごいおいしいですよ。(Sugoi oishii desu yo.) “It tastes so good.”
あんまり東京でも食べれないので、 (Anmari Tōkyō de mo taberenai node,) “Please do try it, as you won't have many” ぜひ試してください。 (zehi tameshite kudasai.) “chances to eat it in Tokyo.”
2. 大須を歩く。 (Ōsu o aruku.) “Walk around Ōsu.”
大須観音を散策。大須散策。 (Ōsukannon o sansaku. Ōsu sansaku.) “Walk around Ōsukannon. Walk around Ōsu.”
大須は食べ歩きもできるし、 (Ōsu wa tabe-aruki mo dekiru shi,) “You can eat around in Osu” あといろんなお店が出てて、ユーズドの服とか。(ato iron na o-mise ga dete te, ūzudo no fuku toka.) “and find many shops, second-hand shops as well.”
例えば、こだわりのあるかわいいものが (Tatoeba, kodawari no aru kawaii mono ga) “Maybe you will find nice selected” 売ってるので、おすすめです。(utte ru node, osusume desu.) “goods there. I recommend it.”
3. 名古屋城に行く。 (Nagoya-jō ni iku.) “Go to Nagoya Castle.”
名古屋城には、 (Nagoya-jō ni wa,) “Big orcas are placed” 大きなシャチホコが屋根の上についていて、 (ōkina "shachihoko" ga yane no ue ni tsuite ite,) “on the top roof of Nagoya Castle.” それと同じサイズのシャチホコと (sore to onaji saizu no "shachihoko" to) “You can take a picture with” 一緒に写真撮ることもできます。 (issho ni shashin toru koto mo dekimasu.) “the same sized orca.”
そう、金のシャチホコなので、 (Sō, kin no "shachihoko" na node,) “Maybe this golden orca” なんか金運が上がりそうですよね。 (nanka kin-un ga agarisō desu yo ne.) “will bring you good luck with money.”
4. アンティークショップに行く。 (Antīku shoppu ni iku.) “Go to antique shops.”
私の好きなアンティークマーケットが、 (Watashi no suki na antīku māketto ga,) “My favorite antique market is” 名古屋の吹上っていうところにあって、 (Nagoya no Fukiage tte iu tokoro ni atte,) “in Fukiage of Nagoya,” けっこうもうしばらく行ってないんですけど、(kekkō mō shibaraku itte nai n desu kedo,) “I haven't been there for a while, though.” そこの上ではカフェもあるので。 (soko no ue de wa kafe mo aru node.) “There's a cafe restaurant on the rooftop of the market building.”
あと、掘り出し物も割とお手ごろな値段で (Ato, horidashimono mo wari to o-tegoro na nedan de) “There are good bargains with pretty good prices,” 売ってるので、おすすめです。 (utte ru node, osusume desu.) “so it's my recommendation.”
5. お土産にゆかりを買う。 (Omiyage ni Yukari o kau.) “Buy Yukari rice crackers in Nagoya.”
ゆかりっていうのは、(”Yukari" tte iu no wa,) “"Yukari" are” 名古屋のエビせんべいのことなんですけど、 (Nagoya no ebi-senbei no koto nan desu kedo,) “prawn rice crackers of Nagoya.” これはお土産で一番有名なものなので、 (kore wa o-miyage de ichi-ban yūmei na mono na node,) “This is the most famous survenir there and delicious.” おいしくておすすめです。 (oishikute osusume desu.) “I recommend it.”
