John: Here's the way to say "I don't have a pen" in Japanese.
Risa: [Normal] ペンを持っていません。(Pen o motte imasen.)
John: First is a word meaning "pen."
Risa: [Normal] ペン [Slow] ペン (pen)
John: Next is the object particle.
Risa: [Normal] を [Slow] を(o)
John: Next is the word meaning "don't have."
Risa: [Normal] 持っていません [Slow] 持っていません (motte imasen)
John: Listen again to the phrase meaning "I don't have a pen."
