Yes, you wrote the words perfectly.
Make 手まり and learn enough japanese to read 本手まり。 This is my first time trying to write some Japanese. What I’m trying to say is temari and temari books.
Your sentences are almost correct.
please putに after進歩.
If you post your sentences to our forum, other learners might give you feedback.
If they don’t, one of us will give some advice for you.
I am not sure if the sentence above is correct but I was trying to say：Thanks a lot for the advice it will help my progress.
Also, is there any resource(s) that I can use to help me with my daily descriptions? The only one that I know of is: google translate, and of course that is not always accurate. Does japanesepod101.com offer one-on-one/message response help on a day-to-day basis?
Thanks again for the help.
With your effort like this, I’m pretty sure you’ll be able to describe a lot of things in Japanese
in no time! And we’re here to help you!😎
As to your composition, some parts need to be changed in order to sound natural Japanese.
As English and Japanese work very differently, simple conversion of words sometimes just don’t work.
My main feedback would be
1. beautiful day
this is what we always want to say and yet we don’t really use the adjective ‘beautiful’ in Japanese.
We might use something like ‘good’, ‘best’ or ‘great’. Or, we’d use words like ‘calm/mild’, ’sunny’ or even
2. global warming
we say this in Japanese 地球温暖化
Let’s say it’s a clear sunny day which makes you feel good, but it’s cold. You think cold day is good because you
think global warming is a problem. And you’re wearing a lot of layers. That’d be:
(Literal translation: Today is a feeling-good day. But this morning is quite cold. Although it’s cold, I think cold is great since global warming is a problem. I’m wearing a lot of layers.)
漢字 for きれいな does exist and 綺麗な is correct (please don’t drop な) and 漢字 for すばらしい
is 素晴らしい, yes. 😄
Did you like our lesson?😇 Hope so!
So my goal is to try and describe my day or what I’m doing (in the moment) everyday this year. I also will write a letter to a friend in Japanese thanking him for telling me that I should consider learning Japanese. It took me long enough to take it seriously so now I will. Soooooo,
Japanesepod101 could you tell me if this makes any sense?
That’s supposed to mean:
Today is a beautiful day. But this morning is quite cold. That’s great since global warming is bad. I wore a lot of layers.
Today is a beautiful day. But this morning is quite cold. But that’s fine because global warming is bad. I wore a lot of layers.
Also, does the 漢字 for「きれいな」actually exist or is “google translate” wrong?
And what about the 漢字 for「すばらしい」is this correct? -> 素晴らしい
