When I decided I wanted to learn Japanese I first started by thinking about how I learned the language I speak now.
Well the first thing I did was listen to and repeat what my mother and father said. (even if I didn't understand 😜)
Because I live in America I don't have the language I'm learning around me so I watch Japanese tv, movies, anime, YouTube, music videos, and Of course play Japanese video games! there's an endless supply of information and media at my disposal.
Then I started learning the alphabet abc's in America and hiragana, katakana, and kanji, in Japan
Now I'm building up my vocabulary with the help of Japanesepod101! And there super easy and fun tutorials!
And I just want to say Thank you senpai Risa!!! 💖
Vobab stickers are a great idea!
My favorite is putting vocab sticky notes on objects around the house. It's a passive but effective technique that gets constantly reinforced! 😎
Try to listen to podcasts in Japanese and English language at the bus. At the same time, you can write some words you don't understand in your phone.
I think I've spotted a mistake in the slideshow recording :
「あなたが学んでいる言語で日記をつけなさい。」is translated by "Say every action you make in the language you're learning out loud."
Thanks for your work ! 👍😁
Thank you for posting.
