Please try other phrases, too.
Hi Kalie (ケイリー),
You're right. We often put one's name instead of saying あなた.
We rarely use the word and sometimes it sounds rude or impolite.
And your name in katakana is correct, ケイリーさん👍
Yes, you can just omit あなた.
But we often don't say subject in conversation, not only あなた, but also 私, 彼 and so on.
We know who's talking about from the situation or context.
Hi Chi Yui,
We are happy to know you like our lesson:)
Hope you all enjoy learning Japanese with us!
👍👍👍I like that❤️️❤️️❤️️
For the ones with あなたは, can i simply remove it? E.g.:
Or will I change the meaning to "I'm not alone" 🤔
I recently learned that あなた can be annoying or rude and it is not ideal to use in Japan. Can you put someone’s name in place of あなた instead? For example: たかしさんならやれる!
P.S. Is the カタカナ for my name, Kalie, correct?
They're hard to pronounce T^T
But this one "やってみる価値があります。" & "頑張って。" I can pronounce it! ^^,
