Thank you! This was very help. Is Children’s Day and Boys’ Day the same day? I know that Girls’ Day is a different day and month, right? What exactly is “Kabuto?” Also, “Chimaki” is listed twice. What do the carps, koi, and irises signify?

The black text is hiragana and Kanji (where applicable), and the red all hiragana.

Is the black text katagana and the red text hiragana? Can someone help me?
