“度” in Japanese means “degree”’ when talking about temperature.
For example, 20度 is 20 degrees.
Yoko and Kaname discuss the ideal weather for a weekend hike.
Yoko: あまり暑くなければいいのですが。20度ぐらいがいいですね。 (Amari atsukunakereba ii no desu ga. Ni-jū-do gurai ga ii desu ne.)
Kaname: はい、ハイキングにはそのくらいがちょうどいいです。 (Hai, haikingu ni wa sono kurai ga chōdo ii desu.)

寒い usually means cold, but you can also use it when someone’s joke isn’t funny.
Tom and Oscar chat about the Arctic.
Tom: 北極について読みました。北極は思ったより寒いんですね。 (Hokkyoku ni tsuite yomimashita. Hokkyoku wa omotta yori samui n desu ne.)
Oscar: とても寒いです!全く違う世界です。 (Totemo samui desu! Mattaku chigau sekai desu.)

暑い describes weather, air, or environment that feels hot.
Emily and Tom plan a hiking trip in the desert.

Tom: 分かりました!予備の水と日焼け止めを持って行きます。 (Wakarimashita! Yobi no mizu to hiyakedome o motte ikimasu.)

涼しい is usually used for air or weather that feels pleasantly cool.
Yoko and Kaname appreciate the weather during their morning jog.
Yoko: 今日はジョギングに最適ですね。涼しくて、あまり暑くないです。 (Kyō wa jogingu ni saiteki desu ne. Suzushikute, amari atsukunai desu.)
Kaname: 外での運動に最適ですね。 (Soto de no undō ni saiteki desu ne.)

You might also hear people say あったかい in casual speech.

In Japanese weather reports, you might hear the word "sakura zensen" (or cherry blossom front) in the spring.
"Sakura zensen," refers to the movement of cherry blossoms blooming across Japan from south to north. Weather reports track the "sakura zensen" so people know when to expect the beautiful blossoms in their area.
