Let’s look at the main dialogue.
Two people are having a conversation.
はると、バイトは どう?楽しい?
Haruto, baito wa dō? Tanoshii?
Haruto, how’s your part-time job? Is it fun?
あまり 楽しくない。
Amari tanoshikunai.
Not really fun.
どうして?
Dōshite?
Why?
Notice that in this dialogue, we don’t add です or ます at the end, since this is a casual conversation between friends.
