Let’s look at the main dialogue.
Two people are having a conversation.
めぐみさん、 先週、 おたんじょうびでしたよね。 かんぱいしましょう!今、 何をのんでいますか。
Megumi-san, senshū, o-tanjōbi deshita yo ne. Kanpai shimashō! Ima, nani o nonde imasu ka.
Megumi, last week was your birthday, right? Let's make a toast! What are you drinking now?
ワインをのんでいます。
Wain o nonde imasu.
I'm drinking wine.
In this second sentence, the character says のんでいます (nonde imasu). There are many different types of て conjugations for verbs, depending on the last syllable of the verb and the class of the verb.
