Thank you for the lesson. So far, I was able to communicate minimally with my friends on PSN.

Hi Pawel,

Thank you for the comment!

I usually write "ไธ‹ใ•ใ„" with Kanji, but sometimes write "ใใ ใ•ใ„" in Hiragana. Both are correct and there is no specific rule.

I feel that hiragana is softer than kanji, so I prefer "ไธ‹ใ•ใ„" to "ใใ ใ•ใ„" in a business situation.

As you know, there are three types of scripts for Japanese writing system. Kanji, hiragana and katakana. (We call "kana" for both hiragana and katakana)

We use them mixed and it is impossible to write sentences only with kanji. You can write sentences in hiragana only, like Japanese children do.

Did you get it?

Please let us know if you have any further questions๐Ÿ‘

Hello. I would like to ask, perhaps, a silly question. I try to learn these phrases alongside the writing. It is nice to have the word written in both: Kanji and Hiragana, thank you for that! But I'm a little bit confused to which one is used in "real" situation.

My first question is: for example: Please (Kudasai) - would I see it mostly written in Hiragana (ใใ ใ•ใ„) or will it be mostly written in Kanji (ไธ‹ใ•ใ„)? Would you write it yourself in Hiragana or Kanji, and why?

My second question is: My japanese is super basic, but I can see that Kudasai in Kanji is a mixture of Kanji and Hiragana. Is it normal to mix Kanji and Kana in sentences in everyday writing?

Hi Red,

Thank you for the reply!

Hope you have enough time next:smile:

The true meaning of "้€ฒๆ’ƒใฎๅทจไบบ" is related to the future story which have been revealed a bit in its manga...

I think the direct translation would be "The titan named ATTACK" or so.

Hello Miki,

Yeah me too. I just started the 2nd season of AOT! :) Yes we love Japan. Shame on me I missed visiting Cospa Gee Kotobukiya, Tokyo Anime Center at Akiba. There wasn't much time. Yes, I study Nihongo everyday. Ganbarimasu!

By the way, what's the literal English breakdown? of ้€ฒๆ’ƒใฎๅทจไบบ "Shingeki no Kyojin" is this not "Attack on Titan"?

Thanks
