Hi, everyone! Welcome to Kanji Time!
Today, we are going to learn N5 kanji.
Let’s go!

This kanji means “year.”
The On-reading for this kanji is ネン (nen) like in 来年 (rainen) which means “next year.”
去年、今年、来年。 (Kyonen, kotoshi, rainen.) “Last year, this year, next year.”
And the Kun-reading is とし (toshi) like in 今年 (kotoshi) which means “this year.”
