Hi nekolover06,

Thank you for your comment!

Yes, 朝 means morning, or early morning

and 午前 also means morning, or a.m., so it's 0:00 am to 12:00.

And 語り is talk, as you say, as it's a noun😊

I will report it to our team as an issue.

Thank for learning Japanese with us:)

Sincerely,

Miho

Hi ther 👋

Could be Marcel's comment was an April fools joke😏

I actually enjoy learning Kanji😇

Still -

If 「午前」 means "morning", what about「 朝」?🤨🤷‍♀️

And musn't「語り」be「語る」for "to talk"? (because「語り」means "talking" 🙄)

どうも有難う! 🤗❤️️

Oh lord...

Thanks Riza for your enthusiasm. Make studying Kanji a little less unbearable. I find it unfathomable how this writing system prevailed for such a long time. Back in the old days, they used to call people who can read (roman languages) the "scholars", the educated bunch. I think in the case of Japanese (and probably Chinese, for that matter), this notion actually applies.

*sigh*, hanging in there. 😭
