| This kanji means ray, light. The on-reading is コウ (kō) as in 観光 (kankō) meaning sight-seeing. And the kun-reading for this kanji is ひかり、ひか (hikari, hika) as in 光る (hikaru) meaning to shine, glitter. |
| This kanji means public, prince, official, governmental. The on-reading is コウ、ク (kō, ku) as in 公園 (kōen) meaning park and the kun-reading for this kanji is おおやけ (ōyake) as in 公の場 (ōyake no ba) meaning public appearances. |
| This kanji means copy, to be photographed, describe. The on-reading is シャ (sha) as in 写真 (shashin) meaning photograph. And the kun-reading is うつ (utsu) as in 写す (utsusu) meaning to copy 写す (utsusu) to copy. |
