Yay I got it right!

I'm really enjoying these listening comprehension videos, especially as most Japanese resources I've found don't really offer the opportunity to listen at basic beginner level.

Such a great site as well, I find I'm learning really fast !

Thank You :)

Hi Matyah,

Thanks for your comment!

ใผใ is one way to call yourself.

It is preferably used by men and young boys.

You can check more details about how to call yourself in this lesson.

> Savannah-san,

konnichiwa!

Glad to know you're enjoying our lessons! Thank you very much for a kind comment.?

> ningninggg-san,

konnichiwa!

ไผš is pronounced as [a] in both sentences. ไผšใ† is a verb and, in those sentences, it's

conjugated into ไผšใ„ใพใ—ใ‚‡ใ† and (one takes the form of ใพใ™, which is) ไผšใ„ใพใ™ which is why ใ† doesn't appear.

Hope this helps!

Hello! Thank you for the listening compre exercise!

I have a question:

For the vocab ไผšใ† [ใ‚ใ†] which means "to meet", you gave the examples...

i. ๅˆๅพŒ๏ผ‘๏ผๆ™‚ใซ้ง…ใฎๅ‰ใงไผšใ„ใพใ—ใ‚‡ใ†ใ€‚I will meet you at 10 PM in front of the station.

ii. ๆ˜Žๆ—ฅใ€ๅฝผใจไผšใ„ใพใ™ใ€‚I'll meet him tomorrow.

Can I ask how the vocab "ไผš" is being pronounced in the two examples? And why is the ใ† in "ไผšใ†" dropped?

Thank you very much!

Really enjoying these listening comprehension videos! Most resources don't offer much (or any) opportunity to practise listening skills, especially at such a basic level. These fill a significant gap in my Japanese studies! I only wish there were more!
