Hi ディアナ,

Thanks for studying with us and asking a question.

In the video, they are still deciding what to order. That's why the woman says "おいしそうですね" which means "looks tasty."

Sincerely,

Miki H

こんばんは、Team JapanesePod!

すみません。。。could you please explain why it is said おいしそうですね instead of おいしいいですね, as I would have expected?

Hi Clara,

Thank you for your comment!

"します" is a polite form of "する" meaning "do". In this case, " ~にします" means "I'll have ~” or "I'll take ~".

"ちゅうもん(する)", on the other hand, means ”(to) order".

Hope this helps you.

Keep studying with JapanesePod101.com

What is the difference between ちゅもん and します ??? They both mean order and are used in different settings in the lessons here.

This one was pretty easy. Not a lot of new vocab, but still good practice :)

Ruth Moen san,

Konnichiwa.

Thank you for the comment.

I really understand it’s hard to study everyday.

However, it is said that if you have a review within 48 hours, your shout time memory becomes long time memory.

"Ohayo gozaimasu Yuki-San!"

First time i tried to listen at the video in the lesson 1,(abs.beg.season2)

it was difficult to fallow the "speaker"and fix the"quiz". The reason was

as i mentioned before,a lot of new words.

Thank god! I knew some of them since earlier lessons!!

It feels like i beginn to "get it"now,i mean "quiz",but it's not so easy.

It's'VERY important to study often, very often i see, when it comes to

the"Japanese language". Have to study EVERY day actually, really try

to do so,but it's not so easy some day's.

At last:"ARIGATO GOZAIMASU 4 the lesson!!:thumbsup::smile::heart:

(Ano...Sumimasen! In the lesson:1"Abs.beg.2",the woman "drink beer",

not "brush her teeths,as it were translated.(in the"vocabulary part"?!?)
