Hi, everyone.
In this lesson, you'll practice saying where you live.
You'll be challenged to say where you live.
First, let's look at some examples.
石川さんはどこに住んでいますか。(Ishikawa-san wa doko ni sunde imasu ka?)
渋谷に住んでいます。(Shibuya ni sunde imasu.)
To ask where someone lives, say...
どこに住んでいますか。(Doko ni sunde imasu ka?)
To answer, say the place name followed by...
に住んでいます。(ni sunde imasu.)
Listen to a few more examples.
サーシャさんはどこに住んでいますか。(Sāsha-san wa doko ni sunde imasu ka?)
新宿に住んでいます。(Shinjuku ni sunde imasu.)
ケンさんはどこに住んでいますか。(Ken-san wa doko ni sunde imasu ka?)
六本木に住んでいます。(Roppongi ni sunde imasu.)
Let's practice.
You are talking to Sasha.
Ask her, "Where do you live?" 新宿に住んでいます。(Shinjuku ni sunde imasu.)
Now ask Ken, "Where do you live?" 六本木に住んでいます。(Roppongi ni sunde imasu.)
