| In this lesson, you'll practice saying where you live. |
| You'll be challenged to say where you live. |
| First, let's look at some examples. |
| 石川さんはどこに住んでいますか。(Ishikawa-san wa doko ni sunde imasu ka?) |
| 渋谷に住んでいます。(Shibuya ni sunde imasu.) |
| To ask where someone lives, say... |
| どこに住んでいますか。(Doko ni sunde imasu ka?) |
| To answer, say the place name followed by... |
| に住んでいます。(ni sunde imasu.) |
| Listen to a few more examples. |
| サーシャさんはどこに住んでいますか。(Sāsha-san wa doko ni sunde imasu ka?) |
| 新宿に住んでいます。(Shinjuku ni sunde imasu.) |
| ケンさんはどこに住んでいますか。(Ken-san wa doko ni sunde imasu ka?) |
| 六本木に住んでいます。(Roppongi ni sunde imasu.) |

| You are talking to Sasha. |
| Ask her, "Where do you live?" 新宿に住んでいます。(Shinjuku ni sunde imasu.) |
| Now ask Ken, "Where do you live?" 六本木に住んでいます。(Roppongi ni sunde imasu.) |
