Hi, everyone.
In this lesson, you'll practice giving the day of the week.
In the next minute, you'll be challenged to ask and answerquestions about the day of the week.
First, let's look at some examples.
中村さん、今日は何曜日ですか？
今日は木曜日です。
会議は何曜日ですか？
会議は火曜日です。
To ask the day of the week, say, "何曜日ですか?"
You can put "今日は" or an event name like "テスト" before it.
To answer, simply state the day followed by "です."
Listen to a few more examples.
今日は何曜日ですか？
月曜日です。
テストは何曜日ですか？
金曜日です。
Let's practice.
You are talking to Shin about school.
Ask him, "What day is the test?"
水曜日です。
Now, ask Ken, "What day is it today?"
金曜日です。
How did you do?
