Hey, guys! Welcome to Japanese Top Words. Today’s theme is 10 must-know words to party in Japan. Let’s get started!
1. パーティー (pātī) “party”
パーティーをしましょう! (Pātī o shimashō!) “Let's have a party!”
Oh… Come on up so your party get started early! Tadada...tada!
いっか、着けたままで。 (Ikka, tsuketa mama de.) “I will continue with it.”
2. 踊る (oduru) “to dance”
あなたは踊りが好きですか? (Anata awa odori ga sukidesu ka?) “Do you like to dance?”
Yes I do! Don’t stop... tadada… to the party, don’t stop, tadada.
3. クラブ (kurabu) “club”
どのクラブが好きですか? (Dono kurabu ga sukidesu ka? ) “Which club do you like?”
ねぇそこの君、君の好きなクラブはどこだい? (Nē soko no kimi, kimi no suki na kurabu wa doko dai?) “Hey you, what club do you like?”
はい、クラブですか?何のクラブでしょう? (Hai, kurabu desu ka? Nan no kurabu de shō?) “Yes… a club? What kind of club?”
私はフラワーアレンジメントクラブです。 (Watashi wa furawā arenjimento kurabu desu.) “I belong to a flower arrangement club.”
そのクラブじゃないよ、お姉ちゃん。 (Sono kurabu ja nai yo, o-nee-chan.) “I’m not talking about that kind of a club, girl.”
4. 祭り (matsuri) “festival”
祭りを楽しみましょう。 (Matsuri o tanoshimimashō.) “Let's enjoy the festival!”
5. 飲み放題 (nomihōdai) “all-you-can-drink”
飲み放題は2時間です。 (Nomihōdai wa nijikan desu.) “All-you-can-drink is limited to 2 hours.”
6. 飲む (nomu) “to drink”
何が飲みたいですか? (Nani ga nomitai desu ka?) “What would you like to drink?”
テキーラのショットくれい! (Tekira no shotto kurei!) “Give me a shot of tequila!”

まぁまぁ、みんな無理して酔っぱらわんでよかとよ。 (Māmā, minna mur shite yopparawande yoka to yo.) “Now then, you don’t have to try so hard to get drunk.”
あったかいお茶のがおいしい。 (Attakai o-cha no ga oishii.) “I like hot tea better.”
7. 乾杯 (Kanpai) “Cheers!”
乾杯! (Kanpai!) “Cheers!”
乾杯! (Kanpai!) “Cheers!”
何飲んでるの? (Nani nonderu no?) “What are you drinking?”
水。 (Mizu.) “Water.”
8. 酔う (you) “to get drunk”
Hey, Risa! What are you doing? %*”(‘#’(“%!
彼は酔っています。 (Kare wa yotte imasu.) “He got drunk.”
9. カラオケ (karaoke) “karaoke”
カラオケに行きました。 (Karaoke ni ikimashita.) “I went to karaoke.”
Tododododo… Todotdo!
10. 居酒屋 (izakaya) “bar”
この居酒屋が好きです。 (Kono izakaya ga sukidesu.) “I like this bar.”
