Tyler さん、
こんにちは。

Thanks for posting.

Don’t worry. If at the moment you don’t have a contact to practice speaking Japanese with, you can practice recording your voice based on the audios of the lesson in Lesson Materials. This way you can adjust your speaking pace to the native speaker’s.

Let us know if you have any questions.

I speak as often as possible with native speakers. I met a family from Osaka, Japan that currently lives in my hometown of Augusta, Georgia, USA. I learn new words and phrases from them and I get to practice the words and phrases that I learn here at Japanesepod101.com.
