I’ve seen some people using かった instead of でした for the past form. Are they both correct or am I missing something here?

Tafarelo さん、
こんにちは。
I’m sorry, but I can’t tell if it’s correct or not because I’m not sure
what you actually wanted to say…can you provide English translation, please?
Thank you very much!

Dear 101,

I hear that the でした, it pronounce as de shi da instead of de shi ta ?

Is it correct ?

Thanks

Andy さん、
Konnichiwa.
‘Watashi wa Lori dewanai’ is grammatically correct however, it indicates a low politeness level.
‘Dewaarimasen’ is polite.

Noa-chan san,
Konnichiwa.
Yes, it is ok, if you speak to close people.
