James: These expressions describe someone's appearance or character.
SLANG EXPRESSIONS
James: The expressions you will be learning in this lesson are:
Risa: ドヤ顔 (doyagao)
Risa: すっぴん (suppin)
Risa: 茶髪 (chapatsu)
Risa: キャラ (kyara)
James: Risa, what's our first expression?
Risa: ドヤ顔 (doyagao)
James: literally meaning "smug face." And when it's used as a slang expression, it means the same.
