Beginner Lessonはもう終わりましたか? どうしてしなくなりましたか?
昨日 Newbie lessonも終わったんですね。
これから、何を聞いたほうがいいかな。。私は今Lower intermediateレベルまで聞けるかもしれません。 私とってはUpperが難しすぎます。
直美先生、ピーターさん、その他のチームメンバー、このBeginner Lessonはとても面白いです。レッスンを作成してくれておりがとうございました。お疲れ様でした。
別の面白いレッスンお願いします。。。

Aloha! Is there a way to automatically add the vocab words introduced in a lesson to our word bank? This would be a great way to easily use the word bank as a review of words that we have already covered. Thanks!

一 (ハジメ) さん、
こんにちは. Let me correct a couple of mistakes you made in your comment.
>楽しいでしたね。
楽しい is an i-Adjective. So when used in the Past Tense it becomes 楽しかったですね.
>誰が会いますか?
The verb 会う requires the use of the “に” particle. 誰に会いますか?
Good luck with your studies!

ありがとうございます。でも、シーズン5はまだわかりません。
Thank you for the nice comment. We still don’t know when we’ll have season 5.

ありがとうございます。メーさんなら、Lower Intermediate 問題ないと思いますよ。
If you can write that well, you wouldn’t have any problem understanding Lower Intermediate lesson!!

I’m not so familiar with the technical thing, but I don’t think we have that function yet. Thank you for the suggestion!

すみません、ちょっと質問がありますが
先日勉強したの”お手数をかける”と”お迷惑をかける”の使い場合は同じですか
お返事,ありがとうございます
Wednesday at 1:50 pm
Russell Uyeno-san,
This is not automatically, but do you know that you can add a word to your Word Bank from the vocabulary list in the learning center?
amy-san,

「お迷惑をかける」は、「ご迷惑をかける」ですね。
「ご迷惑をかける」sounds more serious than 「お手数をかける」.
So, if you want to say “I’m really sorry for troubling you,” you would better use ご迷惑をかける rather than お手数をかける.

直美先生、
はい、そうです。今年の10月末に名古屋に行きます。

来週、レッソンがありますか?
Will there be lessons next week?!?
Maybe that is why 店長 is 泣いています?
Saturday at 12:50 pm
What does the “ぞ”mean/function at the end of this line?
店長: おい、晴夜、さっき、金持ちそうな、おじいさんとおばあさんが来たぞ。
Saturday at 1:41 pm
Ianさん、
ぞ is a sentence ending particle indicating emphasis primarily used by males. It is used in informal speech. It is similar to よas a sentence ending particle although maybe has even higher emphasis.
See Beginner Season 2, Lesson 51 where the unhappy father tells his daughter’s boyfriend not to call him “Dad”:
おまえに、「お父さん」なんて呼ばせんぞ!
P.S. Tika_Veilan さん ありがとうございます。

We introduced the function of “ZO” in the Beginner series season4 lesson25.
As 一 (ハジメ) kindly mentioned above, it’s also introduced in Beginner series season2.

Thanks for a great lesson.
I keep hearing about the ability to access the lesson notes via 3G phone browser, but I can’t find a link on the website that explains how to do it.
Can someone help?

Are you talking about an iPhone in particular? Using the phone’s browser, if you visit the JPOD101 site directly and try opening up a PDF, you should be able to see it right there in the browser (you might have better luck with the Lesson Notes Lite version). Let me know if this works for you!

Hi guys, please tell me that there will be new season for this beginner series. *Please..! Onegai shimasu.. ^___^
Friday at 1:30 pm
Though I’m really greatful for all the amazing works provided by JPod101 crew and enjoyed most of the lessons I listened so far, I don’t understand why people are asking for another beginner season.
Do ppl like redoing things over and over and over?
Shouldn’t ppl now focus on intermediate levels?
If there’s more to come, I can’t even imagine a complete newbie seeing this and thinking that he has to spend forever on beginner’s lessons, that would be a bit overwhelming and discouraging imo.
JPod101 is supposed to be the fastest way to learn japanese right?
I think JPod101 provided us enough great beginner materials from now to jump smoothly to next levels.
Maybe they should only provide reinforcement on some of the nastier grammar points, with more tricky exemples, new vocab, etc as new bonus tracks on already released lessons to keep things fresh.
Anyway, time to move on to next level, you can’t be a beginner forever, can you?

Naomi さん、
私は疑問あります!
I don’t think so
私はそうは思うわない
Is this sentence correct?

>>>I don’t think so 私はそうは思うわないIs this sentence correct?
Almost! The informal negative form(nai-form ) of omou(思う) is omowanai (思わない)not omouwanai (思うわない).
So the sentence should be…
私は、そうは思わない。 or 私はそう思わない。
I hope this makes sense.

I miss the beginner series so I started reviewing them. In the last episode Namoi said that she thinks Shin and Haruya are brothers. But Shin told his boss that his brother got sick and died when he was young and Shin’s mom told him that he and his brother looked nothing alike. So did Shin’s brother live and he does not know? And now that they are older they look sokuri. I wonder if they will finally meet at the Magic Bar. Nice story. Thank you. Jay
