Learn Japanese with JapanesePod101.com! The senior year at Japanese universities is the toughest, especially for students who have to write a sotsuron. That’s short for sotsugyo rombun and means “senior thesis” and it’s definitely not a short paper. After listening, stop by JapanesePod101.com and be sure to leave Miki a comment!

Mina-san, 40,000 words is 100 pages of 原稿用紙 (genkō yōshi), the lined paper used to submit written documents in school. Would you like to try and write 100 pages in Japanese? Miki-san, ganbatte kudasai!

i’m pretty sure I don’t know enough japanese words to fill 100 pages! let alone get the grammer right!
