Mina-san, hope you’re having a great weekend! What do you all think of Agnes’ good luck? Do you think she’ll get the job?

Is the grammar phrase “MAE NI” interchangeable with “UCHI NI”? I think it’s tricky that this phrase can be used with the negative form of the verb without taking on the negative meaning, as was given in the example sentence that included AME GA FURANAI UCHI NI. Which means before it rains, and not before it doesn’t rain.
