Happily because I’m male and old no one gropes me.

Great lesson
Just what I need. Still trying to get my head round the direct and indirect passive forms though. Considering the PDF example:
(past) The wife ran away
(direct) I was ran away by my wife - obviously wrong
(indirect) My wife up and ran away
One could say ‘My wife ran away from me’ which would probably be:
So what’s the difference in meaning between 妻は私から逃げた and 妻に逃げられた?

…maybe it’s just the emphasis of subject i.e. me or wife?

Everybody has a bad day in some moment, is a rule of the life
Great lesson as always!
Speaking about rush hour, here in Cordoba Capital is a litle mad, but in Buenos Aires, especialy in Capital Federal is a real odyssey

oh boy… i think i need to go back to earlier lessons and review. starting to feel overwhelmed.
Saturday at 7:25 am
i just checked the pdf’s for the next few lessons - they all seem to have the same second half of the pdf as these last two lessons. is this a screw-up?
Monday at 5:01 pm
timothy-san,
All of these lessons are about the same topic, the passive voice. So, the PDF has almost the same content. Sorry for confusion caused.
Tuesday at 7:00 am
ooops… thanks mayumi-san.
