New Year!
みなさんこんにちは！美樹です！
2006年もあと残りわずかですね。2006年はみなさんにとってどんな一年でしたか？
一年は本当にあっという間ですね！21世紀になると大騒ぎしたのが最近のような気がするのですが、もう７年目になろうとしています。
お正月はみなさんどうやって過ごしますか？私はまず初詣に行きます。そこでおみくじを引いて新年の運勢を占います♪
年が明けて何日間かは、ほとんどのテレビ番組がお正月の特別番組を放送しています。毎年同じような「ものまね大会」や「かくし芸大会」をずっと放送しています。
ちょうど選挙の時のように退屈な放送です。なので私は毎年アルバイトをしています。いつもより時給もいいし、少し忙しいくらいのほうが好きです♪
私の2007年の目標は「貪欲に知る」です。2006はいろんな体験をして、いろんな考
え方や新しい発見をすることができました。そしてそれってすごく楽しいことだと思いました！だから、もっともっといろんなことが知りたいです♪音楽でも本でも勉強
でも、人間でもラインを決めずにたくさんのことや人に触れたいと思います！
みなさんの2007年の抱負を教えて下さい！

美樹さん、こんにちは！ 
まず、このコメントが読まれる時がわからなくても、私は美樹さんに「明けましておめでとうございます」と言いたいです！ 
一年が早く経つと私も思います。JPOD101が始まってから一年以上も経ったのが信じられません！！！ 
2006年は、いろいろなことがあったし、たくさん体験をしたけど、一番印象に残ったのはJPOD101と一緒に日本語の勉強することです。実は、私は約12年前一人で日本語の勉強を始めましたが、数年前やめることになりました。でも、JPOD101のおかげで2006年に日本語の勉強を始めなおして、日本語能力試験も受けられました！ 
それに、2006年の8月の下旬、美樹さんのブログが登場したから、私は初めて日本語で書きました！！！
2006年5月にポッドキャストで美樹さんを初めて聞いて、紹介してもらいましたが、ブログのおかげでもっと知り合ってよかったです。というのは、美樹さんは声がかわいくて、感じのよくて、優しいおじょうさんだと思います。美樹さんのブログのおかげでずいぶん勉強になりました。それに、美樹さんは毎週私のコメントに答えてどうもありがとうございます！
さて、2007年の抱負をまだ考えませんでした。でも、私も2007年いろいろなことが習いたいと思います！！！

my New year’s resolution is to learn Japanese! Why would some cowboy in the middle of the Arizona desert want to learn Japanese? I love Basho, Dogen-zenji, and Japanese food (which I get in Scottsdale)…. wish me luck!

iTunes question for ya’ll:
I have my options set up to keep the ‘latest three podcasts’–yet when I download a new one, they keep piling up. With 15,000 mp3’s I need to keep some room on here, heh. Can someone tell me why they’re not being removed when I update the podcast in iTunes?

Happy New Year everyone! I am so happy on this first day of 2007, because for several months now I have repeatedly tried to figure out why I could not type hiragana on my keyboard and I finally got it!!! I hope my first attempt is not to bad

大晦日は真夜中前に父は一人で出掛けます。真夜中後で石炭の塊を持って帰ります。ドアをノックします。毎年、父は最初に入った人です。幸運ですよ。「first footing」と言います。

How are you? HAPPY NEW YEAR 2007 from NYC to Japan with love!
My New year was great! I went to Times Square to celebrate New Year 2007, it was very nice there was some artists singing Christina Aguilera, The Jersey Boys and others. 
They also gave us free stuff hats, scarfs, etc I was wearing my 2007 glasses and some great clothes haahaa!
How I wished you were there with us so you could see how beautiful it was and what this city has to offer, but don’t worry you must come in the future so you can see it too, we can go and see it together ok if you don’t mind 
At the end when the sphere hit the 2007 light we celebrate and hug each other out. Then the songs IMAGINE from John lennon and other song that I don’t know the artist name and song name began playing of out loud.
After a long day without eating anything and going to the restroom only onces, we got very tired of standing there and all the noise so we just took a taxi and went back home to continue the celebration (drinking) until morning then we fall asleep!
Well Miki-san that was my end of the year day and my wishes for 2007 are to learn Japanese, go to Japan in the future, meet you and all JP101 staff, have a healthy life, have money, have love, etc if not then I will just conform with the most important ones ok then see ya S_R_C

I forgot to mention above Frank Sinatra’s song New York, New York. They also played out loud too after Imagine!
The other song and artist that I don’t know is the one that came after those two songs ok Miki-san so you and other listeners don’t get confused ok!

明けましておめでとうございます！今年もよろしくお願いします！
私は友達の家に行きました．伝統的なものを食べたり、沢山飲んだり（ ビールも焼酎もワインも濁酒）、テレビで紅白を見ました．そのあとで、二年参りしまして、甘酒も飲みました。おみくじを引いて「吉」をもらいました！神社でだるまを買いましたけど、まだ目を書きませんでした．．家に帰って、もっと飲みました．
元日、起きたからもちのスープを飲みました．（名前が忘れてきました！）長野市の善光寺に初詣に行きました．すごく込んでいました．
家で泊まる人は多すぎるから、温泉に行って入りました．家に帰って、
おせちを食べました．
今日早く起きて、東京に住んでいる人は戻りました．駅伝も見ました。
ごめんね．日本語が悪くなりました． 正月ずっと日本語だから疲れた！

everyone was joking that I was really 日本人 and just wearing coloured contact lenses, because I loved all of the food.
