Learn Japanese with JapanesePod101.com! We’re back again with another Holiday Special, and this time we’re talking about something everyone loves to indulge in over the holidays - tabemono! Tune in to learn all about nabe. It means pot, but it’s really a type of meal that brings friends and family together for great times and great food. Other winter classics, such as kaki and oden, make the list as well! After listening, stop by JapanesePod101.com and be sure to leave us a post!

hi,
i’m a newbie and i only started a month ago but i do 3 a day at least at the moment to catch up….
thank you for making learning japanese so interesting and fun,
Greetings,
Even though I have been listening to the podcasts for a couple of months, I have just now found the time to purchase a premium package and really get into to everything that this wonderful site has to offer.
In March, I will be taking 41 students from Bend, Oregon, USA to stay with the band at Kogane High School. While there, we will share the true international language of music and perform together.
There is nothing else that comes close to teaching the language and culture of Japan to myself and my students . This lesson makes me hungry. Thank you staff and listeners for teaching me so much.
Daniel-さん Thanks for the pictures!
