Liz21さん、最近どうですか。
Mikuji-san,
Midlothian, Texas. Nathan is an expert on this location, and I’m sure he’ll be posting further details about it.
In the meantime,

I’m enjoying the 隣の人 series ^_^
To practice my listening skills I transcribe dialogs from the lessons (cheak them) then try to write in all the kanji each day.
Sometimes I get frustrated because it’s hard to write it all down quickly. I end up listening to parts again and again and again and…again. But I always look forward to the continuation of the 隣の人 story! I’m so curious about what will happen next, that it refreshes me!
Thank you everybody at JapanesePod101.com ^_^
どうも有り難うございます。

Domo Arigato gozimas, quick question:I said arigato to a japanese speaking person and they corected me by telling me Domo arigato…so whats the diffrence between domo and gozimas? Also, I told someone ja matta and they said to also use something that sounded like ja itashimashte and told me that also means see you again…(itashimaste)might not be the word he used cause i know that means your welcome(to itashimaste).

I have a blackberry and i have been downloading the mp3’s to a memory card for my blackberry but there are some lessons that don’t want to play. All bonus material i can listen to right here on the website but not on my phone. I can go without bonus…i think O_o. Here are the lessons that im having trouble with:Begginer S1 Lessons:31,32,34,35,36,37,67,71,72,120,157…Newbee S3 lesson:2 Newbee S4:37,42 simimasen for the trouble
Thursday at 9:50 am
Hello Art,
It sounds like that person was correcting your Japanese to sound more polite. “Arigatou” is not incorrect, but it is quite casual, so it sounds like he was telling you to use a more polite form like “doumo arigatou”.
I’m not sure about the phrase that he told you to use instead of “ja mata”, I’m afraid
As for the lessons that aren’t playing, I would recommend downloading them and putting them on the memory card again. It sounds like something may have happened to the files in the process of getting transferred. Please let us know if you need any more help.
