Mina-san, Today’s location is 水星・すいせい・Suisei - hello to all of our listeners on Mercury!

Good lesson! I think I have to listen again though
Friday at 4:48 am
This lesson has it all: great grammar point, a twisted ending
, and fun vocabulary like “monku aru”!
Chigusa-san, you are great at these put-down lines (like “nai desu” in the iLove videos!!!)!
As to the Quizzes in the Learning Center, I get frustrated because I can read only about 100 kanji, and not necessarily the same ones on any given day.
So, even after studying the kanji flash cards from to the lesson and “mastering” them, I have a problem because there are other kanji in the questions that I can’t remember.
One thing I tried today was to copy and paste these kanji into Jim Breen’s WWJDIC. It helped, a little. Advice, anyone?
Friday at 4:51 am
(answering her own question): Maybe I should just go back to the beginning and try those quizzes first and forget about the current quizzes? However,I do understand the dialogue of the current lessons and I could answer many questions about the content and maybe the grammar?:???:

Speaking of 口説き文句, I’ll be going to the campus’s Japanese club soon. Anyone can recommend some good 口説き文句 for picking up Japanese girls?

Max-san,
No idea what you’re talking about… I see Mercury

)

Nathanさん、
Where have you been? Good to see you comment.
Peterさん、
You think there are going to be video peepholes everywhere? You must be living in a bubble community over there in Kunitachi. How much are they paying you at JP101?
Let’s meet up again and negotiate.
BTW, I implemented some of your suggestions in my latest podcast episodes. Still waiting for feedback.
よろしくお願いします!

That’s great news. It’s like learning to write all over again.

I don’t think Japanese women are any more gullible than the rest of the worlds female population (ie. not at all).
The *worst* tactic I ever saw for nampa-suru was the teenager with the “I Want a Japanese Girlfriend” T-shirt at a Japanese fete.
Apparently according to a newspaper report last year. “This time next year let’s be laughing together” was the most popular line in a poll of Japanese women. I could never find the original source though.
Friday at 9:58 pm
Beltonさん、
I’m sorry. You are definitely wrong. Japanese women are pretty gullible. (Sorry for the generalization, but that’s what it is: a generalization; and true)

JockZon-san, 毎度ありがとう!Yeah, this one has a lot in there. Let us know if you need any clarification.
Liz-san, you should be using the rikaichan plug-in for Firefox.
Are you using Firefox? If not, skype us!
Bakaneko-san, I’d love to help, but I’m married and wifey checks the blog.
Sindy-san, when referring to oneself you don’t attach the suffix -san.
Max-san, we didn’t forget about your email. A response is coming.
Barbara-san, that’s great to hear! With the rikaichan plug-in for Firefox, reading kana is a tremendous tool! Please go for it! And let us know if you need any help.
Belton-san, I thought the t-shirt was an excellent attempt.

Does your wife know?

Belton-san, didn’t want to give it away, but how do you think I met my wife?

Cool, I visited iTunes Music Store today, and there I saw a yuuge JPod ad on the top of the site! Do you pay for such things, or are you just lucky? Or is it rude to ask?…
Saturday at 5:07 am
Solvi-san, it was award from Podcast vote I believe. Remember? We didn’t get to win for the first place, but we got the award for free AD through a year or something???
Saturday at 5:21 am
Our Vickyちゃん™、
I don’t think iTunes cares about that contest.
It’s just that JP101 rules!

Saturday at 5:37 am
Daniel-san, are you sure??? We won something, no??? I know we won some AD…..

Mina-san, thank you for all of your support! Thanks to you we were one of the top 3 site driving traffic to podcastawards.com!
And because of this, we’ll receive free advertising space for one year! Hontou ni arigatou gozaimashita!
We would like to thank you for nominating and for all the voting on our behalf!
本当にありがとうございました!
Saturday at 6:20 am
So that was an iTunes ad? Cool! I thought it was an ad for the award site… Which wouldn’t actually make much sense, since people probably don’t visit it outside voting days… I guess.

Hey, Peter!
I love the show, but I have one HUGE request for you. During this lesson you mentioned a word you called the “test word” and continued to talk about THIS WORD, but you only said the word twice! I have only listened to the episode once, but at the moment I can’t remember what the word is, but I would have heard it 5 times or so if you would have said the actual word instead of refering to it as THIS WORD.
宜しくお願いします

ちぐささんの声が大好きです
Tuesday at 7:42 am
if someone could post the script of the very end of the bonus audio track, that short phrase right after 見せかけた, that would be cool
Tuesday at 9:28 am
Balsaさん,
The whole phrase is:
Are wa kitto, ore no kutsu no katachi ni misekaketa bakudan ni chigainai! Nigeru zo!” ⇒ “No doubt that it’s a bomb disguised as my shoe! Let’s get out of here!”

はい、ちょっと待ってください。誰かな。セールスの人だろう。ちょっと、覗き窓から見えるかな。違うよ、隣の人だ。でなくていいよ。きっと文句を言いに来たんだ。そうかな。何か靴を持ってるよ、君のじゃないの。
また、明日。
