Mina-san,
How are you all on this fine day?
Don’t miss today’s informal, as Take-san gives quite the performance. Of course, doesn’t he always?
Yoroshiku onegai shimasu!
Don’t be mean to Takase-san.
What’s up today? End of a long hot day?
Quiet here today. {sound f/x wind and tumbleweeds}

腕を磨きませんか?
Well, let’s see if Our Vickyさん has recovered enough to post a few times today. As for me, it’s bedtime. I’ll have to listen in the morning.
BTW, I just posted my latest podcast episode:
http://web.mac.com/danielbeck/iWeb/GTBCast
Still looking forward to getting feedback from Peterちゃん、 Nathanさん、 and anyone else. (FYI, it’s a podcast for my students of English).
See you all on the other side!
I am downloading this lesson right now and will return later to make questions because I think this lesson will tare my world apart
今日、貴方たちは元気ですか?
Belton-san, Takase-san is like our kid sister. Although I’ve never had a kid sister, our relationship is like how I envision having one!
Beck-san, this weekend I’ll give you more feedback than you could have hoped for.
Just kidding, but definately this weekend.
JockZon-san, 久々! Apologies for the long absence from the message board. Been really busy over here working on something big! Our soon-to-be-released big project will definately be worth it! Yoroshiku!
Did anyone pickup naruheso・なるへそ in the informal track??
Takaseさん, I understand about the heat. California has had a taste of Japanese summer this last week. There were two freakish weather patterns that made it the hottest in recorded history. In one city, the previous record was beaten by 10 degrees F. And it’s humid too.
We’re used to warm, dry weather, so most people have no air conditioning. Last Saturday I sat at my computer with ice packs down my dress, sweat dripping down my face all day, while my cats sprawled on the floor panting, and swore that when I visit Japan it will be in the spring.
I just listened to the informal track… I’m at work and I really struggled not to laugh out loud. HAHAHAHAHA… I recommend that everyone listen to it. I wonder if I could figure out a way to make that howling the ringer on my cellphone.
Hey Keith I listen to it too and yes it really funny
the howling has a ringer on a cellphone!
what was also very funny was Yoshi-san mother’s voice it was like she was snarl, growl yoshi-san and yoshi-san was yes mommy!
(no offense) Yoshi-san we love you man! ![]()
Another funny thing was Daniel-san post that Vicky is 16 years old and Liz was 11 years old!
I thought I was dealing with 30-40 years old womens! and they just puberty girls!
![]()
and michael-san said i won’t mess with 11 year old then Vicky said that she was older than him!
you guys and girls are very nice and funny people you really make me laught such a great site, team and listeners Iso happy this website came to my life! ![]()
Thank you all and lets keep it up until the end of our lifes!
ok!
About today’s lesson it was just a great lesson Dog day and we are living the dog year too from the Chinese zodiac! I love dogs but I also love cats so I loved them both!
Hey Peter-san please sent my Mexican people listeners a

I’m representing them here and New York too! Well then thanks for your time and see ya later alligator! S_R_C
PS: Today is such a beautiful day is very hot and humid you guys should have a beach lesson of Japan beaches no?
Sindyさん、
Not that it matters, but I didn’t not post those comments you mention above. You should get your facts straight.
Plus, you should stop your barely veiled attacks on them and others (putting a smiley doesn’t hide it). If there are people you don’t like here, you should just ignore them. It’s not that hard to do. If there are other people here on the list who dislike others, we wouldn’t know, because they’ve been able to control themselves and keep the venom off list. Please do the same.
Nagasaki Connection rocks!
“A dog named Yoshi”
Takaseさん, that was too funny!
And the informal was funny.
Takeさん!Nice howl! Ha ha ha. ![]()
Yoshiさん!「なるへそ」Never heard that one before.

Me: Who is this? Feels like the Wizard of Oz.
Lauraさん、
While you all in California are suffering worse than us, I wouldn’t compare it to Japan’s summer. I doubt you have the humidity. Though, we feel for all of you this year. Hang in there!
Although I’ve never had a kid sister, our relationship is like how I envision having one!
You’re welcome to have mine, if you want.
Daniel Beck-san,
That message from JapanesePod101.com was definitely Peter-san because he consistently mispells that word!!
Love you anyway, ピーターさん
Jasonさん、
That was too funny!
Lizさん、
Funny. He’s spelling phonetically for a NYer, I’m sure.
Daniel-sam those aren’t venom comments and yes I have my comments straight you say that in the 100 beginner lesson! I check where it says e-mail me follow-up comments to this post so I receive all message you guys type! ![]()
its not that I don’t like anyone here its just heavy rag jokes just to see how people react because this Mexican humor but I guess no one here can handle them they get angry very easy but its fine I understand! I won’t do them again because now I know that you can’t handle them and get angry very quickly ok! PEACE AND LOVE EVERYONE!
Hey Liz I receive your e-mail thanks for telling me and I’m so sorry grandma can I call you that? or you get angry like Daniel-san for your mail! respects to you T……!
Now I would like to know if Vicky is 16 or not Liz?

Sindyさむ、
You’re 22 NYC. Whatever.
Oh, and since you forced my hand, here it is:
Michael D. Cassidy says:
July 26th, 2006 at 9:40 pm
Vicky is 16; Liz 13.
That should get a response out of them.
I copied and pasted that. Not only did you falsely attribute that to me, but you got Liz’s age wrong. Maybe you shoud apologize to her too.
No, not maybe after your more recent comment.
(Apolgies to Michael)
And was it Mexican humor when you said those hateful things about Korea and China during the World Cup?
Mina-san,
Try to make a Japanese sentence based on today’s lesson. Make a bookmark out of this so it will be easy to find: http://www.japanesepod101.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=447

Okay Jasonさん、
I believe you owe me your kingdom. Feel free to send it via Paypal.
Well my kingdom consists entirely of a campus apartment in Baton Rouge. I’ll leave it up to you to find a way to transfer that over paypal.
I guess I’m faceless. Well, I’m homeless at the moment, so I guess that suits me… Moving in to a new apartment in a month’s time, and in the meantime we’re living at my in-law’s. Expect me to spend a lot of time on my computer…
Daniel-san, I’ve been to Costa Rica and Toronto in its most humid and smog-filled summer, and Death Valley, and they were all worse than California, objectively speaking. But I’ve never been that hot while sitting doing nothing at 10pm. I think it’s what you’re used to. Just a little bit of humidity feels like a lot when you’re used to dry warmth.
Solvi-san, you can have my face.
“i would be happy to give anything to yoshi” how cute.. ![]()

the informal…cracks me up to no end
