Thanks for all the extras! That´s enough to keep me going for the weekend
Have a lovely weekend everyone and all the best
Saturday at 12:59 am
Hi!
I was busy for the past two days, so now I need to catch up with 2 Beginner lessons and this Intermediate Lesson, with so many extras!! It will keep me busy, too, like usagi-san!
Saturday at 4:10 am
このレッスンは難しくて長いですね! 頭が痛いよ。
This lesson is long and difficult! My head hurts.

I think 遭難 (そうなん) might be a better word for people who go missing in the mountains than 行方不明 (ゆくえふめい).
I learned this from some old Japanese guy I met when I was hiking.
Saturday at 5:47 pm
Also, it’s only a minor thing, but the title of the MP3s is incorrect. They say “Onegaishi” instead of “Ongaeshi”.
Or at least they did when I downloaded them.
Saturday at 7:13 pm
Like everyone else said, so much stuff in this lesson! I really enjoyed it!
Saturday at 8:54 pm
Usagi-san, please let us know what you think! Enjoy your weekend.
Liz-san, looks like you have a busy weekend ahead!
Please let us know what you think.
ジムさん、頑張ってください。今週末ゆっくり聴いてください。
Reneさん、as always, thanks for the input, and we’ll look into the tags. Hmm, seems strange, they seem okay here, but will check it out again. Thanks.
Robさん、yeah there was a lot today! Really glad you enjoyed it.
Saturday at 10:00 pm
Peter-san and Nathan-san!

You were great as grandma and grandpa! Imagine — two 20 somethings acting so old!!
I especially loved Nathan-san’s “Hot diggity!!”
Yoshi-san, Sakura-san, Take-san: Great Acting!!!!
I noticed there was no line by line audio for the transcript in the Learning Center, but, if that takes a long time to do, then it’s no surprise that it wasn’t possible.
As a Beginner, this lesson is a bit of a stretch, but I enjoy trying!
Saturday at 10:02 pm
Can you please tell me what these words mean: “hanashi banashi” (some kind of story?)
and O-AIBO (robot?) Ongaeshi???
Doumo!
Sunday at 1:31 am
Liz-san - I think you mean mukashi-banashi, which literally means a story from a long time ago… kind of like “Once upon a time” stories.
I’m surprised you haven’t heard of Aibo’s (with the honourific O- prefix), they’re robot dogs which act like real dogs, and they’re made by Sony.
Ongaeshi is to return a favour.
Hope that helps!
Sunday at 4:20 am
Rob-Gillon-san,
(Old!)
Thanks very much for your help. You wouldn’t be surprised that I don’t know Aibo if you knew how OLD I am!!
However, I did enjoy all them saying “Arigato, arigato” on the third Bonus track!
Sunday at 5:59 pm
Lizさん、Nathan’s a really talented voice actor! We snatched him away from Disney at the last moment.
We’ll be seeing a lot more of Nathan in the dialogs.
As for the line by line, it will be added shortly. This one is just taking a while.
Robさん、thanks for the help! 今後もよろしくお願いします。
Sunday at 7:25 pm
Liz-san,
I’m glad you enjoyed that… I know Peter and I enjoyed recording it
The hot-diggity was actually a joke, and I didn’t expect it to go in
Peter-san,
Yes, it’s a little-known fact that I actually played the voice of Pocahontas.
Sunday at 8:19 pm
皆さん、line-by-line for the first 30 lines have been added. Unfortunately, it seems as that is our current limit, and David (Batman) Hallgren won’t be in until Tuesday. So we hope that you understand. よろしくお願いします。
Monday at 10:15 pm
Nathan, I thought that was you!
Tuesday at 9:27 pm
I think the kanji for hiku is 轢く instead of 引く。
:???:
Thursday at 3:57 pm
Nathan-san, you were awesome! I was crying my eyes out with laughter! Great job!
God, I’d love to see you and Take-san team up! Let’s get you your own version of Shakespeare Takahashi.
Hot diggity!
Sunday at 1:09 am
Alainさん、you are correct. Thank you for pointing that out. The PDF will be updated shortly.
よろしくお願いします。
Wednesday at 10:24 pm
There soo should be a culture lesson on the AIBO!!! or denshi petto in general!
Thursday at 8:33 pm
I just downloaded the pdf and the 轢く mistake hasn’t been corrected yet. I was thinking about telling you about this but Alain saw it a few months before me
Thursday at 11:59 am
Thought I would point something out that caught me at first…
“ばあ:轢かれた!かわいそうに。 ” -> It’s been run over. How sad! (pitiful, pathetic)
Not: “How cute it seems!”
#$%& nihongo!
