Hi, everyone! Welcome to Kanji Time!
Today, we are going to study N2 kanji.
Let’s learn!

This kanji means “salt.”
The On-reading for this kanji is エン (en) like in 塩分 (enbun) which means “salt content.”
梅干しの塩分は高い。 (Umeboshi no enbun wa takai.)
And the Kun-reading is しお (shio) like in 塩味 (shioaji) which means “salty taste.”
