Welcome to Kanji Time. Today, we are going to review N3 Kanji. Let’s do it!
If you want to do the quiz first, please go to these times.
This kanji means “take, get, remove, choose”.
The on-reading for this kanji is シュ (shu) as in 取材 (shuzai), meaning “data collection”. And the kun-reading is と (to) as in 取り調べる (torishiraberu) which means “to interrogate”.
おい、本当のことを言いなさい!(Oi, hontō no koto o iinasai!)
君はあの夜、私のアイスクリームを食べたのか、食べてないのか!(Kimi wa ano yoru, watashi no aisu kurīmu o tabeta no ka, tabete nai no ka!)
取り調べる。(Torishiraberu.)
This kanji means “accept, answer, get, catch, receive”.
The on-reading for this kanji is ジュ (ju) like in 受験生 (jukensei) which means “test taker”. And the kun-reading is う (u) like in 受け入れる (ukeireru), meaning “to accept”.
This kanji means “number, title, pseudonym, signal”.
The on-reading for this kanji is ゴウ (gō) like in 番号 (bangō) which means “number”.

The on-reading for this kanji is クン (kun) as in ~君 (naninani kun), “a form of address that follows a boy or a younger person’s name.
