ふ~。(Fū.) まだ映ってないよね。(Mada utsutte nai yo ne.) 映ってるよ。(Utsutte ru yo.) うそ!(Uso!) Hi everyone, it’s Risa. Welcome to kanji time. Today, let’s review N4 kanji. 参りましょう。(Mairimashō.) Oh, if you want to do the quiz first, please go to these times. デン!(Den!)
This kanji means ground, earth, position, base. The on-reading is チ、ジ (chi, ji) like in 地面 (jimen) meaning ground. 地面を踏む。(Jimen o fumu.) And 土地 (tochi) land, plot. デン!(Den!)
This kanji means public chamber, hall, shrine, temple. The on-reading is ドウ (dō) like in お堂 (o-dō) meaning shrine or temple and 食堂 (shokudō) restaurants or cafeteria. デン!(Den!)
This kanji means location, place. The on-reading for this kanji is ジョウ (jō) as in 運動場 (undōjō) meaning gymnasium. And the kun-reading for this kanji is ば (ba) as in 場所 (basho) meaning place 場所。(Basho.) お気に入りの場所。(Okiniiri no basho.) My favorite place. デン!(Den!)
This kanji means voice. The on-reading for this kanji is セイ (sei) as in 声優 (seiyū) meaning voice actor. みんな~、元気?(Minnā, genki?) みんな、元気かー。(Minna, genki kā.) みんな、元気かー。(Minna, genki kā.) みんな、元気かしら。(Minna, genki kashira.) And curating is こえ、こわ (koe, kowa) like in 声 (koe) meaning voice. デン!(Den!)
This kanji means sell. The on-reading is バイ (bai) like in 売買 (baibai) meaning selling and buying.
