皆さん、こんにちは!(Mina-san, kon’nichiwa!) Welcome to kanji time. Today, let’s do N3 kanji. If you want to do the quiz first, please go to these times. ここです!(Koko desu!)
This kanji means equip, provision, preparation. The on-reading for this kanji is ビ (bi) as in 整備する (seibi suru) meaning to maintain, facilitate. And the kun-reading for this kanji is そな (sona) as in 備える (sonaeru) meaning to prepare, equip.
This kanji means excel, surpass, superiority, gentleness. The on-reading for this kanji is ユウ (yū) as in 優秀 (yūshū) meaning excellent. Excellent! And the kun-reading for this kanji is やさ、すぐ (yasa, sugu) as in 優しい (yasashii) meaning kind, thoughtful.
This kanji means whole, entire, all, fulfil. The on-reading for this kanji is ゼン (zen) as in 全員 (zen’in) meaning all people. The kun-reading for this kanji is まった、すべ (matta, sube) like in 全て (subete) meaning whole, all.
This kanji means together, both, and, with. The on-reading for this kanji is キョウ (kyō) like in 共通 (kyōtsū) meaning common, mutual. And the kun-reading for this kanji is とも (tomo) as in 共に (tomo ni) meaning together. 共に踊りましょう!(Tomo ni odorimashō!)
