今日は N3の漢字を勉強しましょう。

The On-reading for this kanji is オウ (ō) like in 押収する (ōshū suru), which means “to seize.”
And the Kun-reading is お (o) like in 押し寄せる (oshiyoseru), which means “surge ahead.”
This kanji means “beckon, invite, summon, engage.”
The On-reading for this kanji is ショウ (shō) like in 招待 (shōtai), which means “invitation.”
And the Kun-reading is まね (mane) like in 招き猫 (manekineko), which means “beckoning cat.”
