Hi, everyone! Welcome to Kanji Time.
Today, we are going to learn N3...3 kanji.

This kanji means “pay, prune, clear out, banish.”
The On-reading for this kanji is フツ (futsu), like in 払拭する (fusshoku suru), which means “to sweep away.”
